Contingency is a handmade stab book made as a combination of The New York Times and Graphics Standards Manual from New York City Transit Authority. A sense of contingency is generated through the mixture of two different methodologies in publications through formal and informal, visual and literal languages/information. The technique of overlay printing encourages a new form of reading and thinking in visual aspects.
